VICKIE is Betty's younger sister. Despite being 5 years apart, they have become closer since college.  She's a graduate student in psychology (health informatics, to be precise) who is a music aficionado, so do not tell her you like Green Day.  She is also a fellow Rice alum.

AARON is Ryan's younger brother and fellow Rice alum.  Aaron is a newlywed who loves to fish and will try to incorporate it into any activity.  He is a mechanical engineer living in Houston with his wife.

MAUREEN was Betty's suitemate at Rice their freshman year.  She is one of the most talented and artistic people Betty knows.  Maureen is an architect living in Austin with her husband (who was in Betty's O-Week group!) and their daughter.

FERNANDO was in Ryan's O-Week sister group at Rice.  They later were roommates for their last 2 years at Rice and were Ultimate teammates.  Fernando is an engineer turned teacher who lives in Boston with his wife (another Rice alum) and their daughter and son.  

 AMBER and Betty became great friends in law school going to concerts, bar reviews, and crashing parties. She's witnessed Betty snowboard into a fence and Betty's bag being stolen off a train to Florence.  Amber's an attorney living in Washington D.C.

CHRIS and Ryan were freshman and senior year roommates at Rice.  He is a bike enthusiast who even has a room dedicated to all his (and his wife's) bikes in their home. Chris is a mechanical engineer living with his wife in Boston.

CAROLYN is one of Betty's best friends from law school.  Betty and Carolyn can spend hours laughing until they cry over an inside joke.  Carolyn is an attorney living in Cleveland with her husband and three sons.

JOHN and Ryan were regulars at a popular Rice hangout. When John moved to Ft. Worth to work at Lockheed, he and Ryan became roommates for a few years.  Today, John is a MBA student at TCU living in Ft. Worth with his wife.

ALICE and Betty met years ago at work and bonded over their shared quirks like sporting Deb side ponytails at work. Alice is an adventurous traveler who has raced across Eastern Europe.  She's an attorney living in Houston with her husband and daughter.

VIKRAM and Ryan became friends during their early years at Lockheed.  Vik is a speedy biker, who can smoke you in an uphill race.  He is a mechanical engineer living with his wife and their son in Fort Worth.
